It is a surgery procedure done under general anaesthesia. For the knee arthroscopy, the bucket handle tear is viewed through the anteromedial portal. The tear is prepared by the rasp to promote healing. An all-inside device is used to repair the meniscus. For this surgery, five all-inside devices were used. We then inspect the stability of the meniscus once the repair is complete. We advise using five to six stitches placed in good meniscal tissues for an effective repair for large bucket handle tears. For this patient, we did a relook arthroscopy one year later and we saw a stable healing of the meniscus.
